The Gordon Arms
Ray and Ingrid Foster would like to welcome you to the Gordon Arms website.
Ray and Ingrid took over the pub and renovated it in June 2008, making it into a family friendly community pub, with a warm friendly atmosphere. Their aim was to create a continental colonial style pub, serving freshly prepared homemade bistro style food and fantastic speciality coffee.
They offer food seven days a week starting with brunch from 11 and lunch until 2.30 (3pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays). In October they extended the food to offer evening food Monday to Thursday 6.30-8.30.
In addition to the inside space, they are fortunate to have 3 outside areas for use all year round. They also have a fully functioning entertainment venue, the Ent.Shed.
The Ent.Shed is available for hire for corporate events, parties, weddings, meetings and bands. Recently they started a monthly comedy night which is proving a success and a great night for many. In addition the most recent regular event is, “Friday Live” live music every Friday with local and international bands performing regularly. Have a look at our Calendar to see What’s on and when!
As well as the friendly welcoming atmosphere gained by a great team behind the bar, they offer 5 well kept real ales, including 4 Wells and Youngs Ales and a weekly guest ale. They also offer a great selection of wines from around the world including some delicious fine wines.
So come on down be it for a glass of wine, pint of ale, food, their speciality coffee or for one of the many events, they look forward to seeing you.
